One in four adults in the U.S. suffers from a diagnosable mental illness. In Colorado Springs, bipolar disease rates rank even higher. Yet, with early diagnosis and treatment, most individuals with a bipolar diagnosis can live normal lives.

From therapy to psychiatric consultation, our dedicated staff is here to ensure you receive the care you need.

Adult Substance Abuse Program
The Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Treatment programs are for chemically-dependent persons. These programs offer day and evening sessions; each session consists of three hours of group.

Individual Therapy
Psychotherapy is the treatment of mental and emotional disorders through the use of psychological techniques designed to encourage communication of conflicts and insight into problems, with the goal being relief of symptoms, changes in behavior leading to improved social and vocational functioning, and personality growth. Individual psychotherapy is a session involving only two persons, the therapist and the client.

Advocacy
A client advocate is a person who assists clients in their recovery process by helping them navigate the Pikes Peak Mental Health system and connect with resources in the community including assistance with transportation, utilities, housing, food and other essential needs.

Enhanced Adult Services Team: Intensive Case Management
Clients receiving intensive case management services are deemed to be the most high-need clients we serve. Clients receiving this service require at least two case management contacts per week to: (a) remain engaged in treatment and (b) prevent inpatient admission.

Mental Health Needs Assessments
Client needs Mental Health Needs Assessment (MHNA) only.

Peak Vista Partnership and other co-locations
Clients who are receiving physical health care at Peak Vista Heath Center can obtain short term mental health therapy at the following Peak Vista medical clinics: Family Health Clinic, Myron Stratton, Divide, Immediate Care Clinic, Fountain and Homeless Clinic.

Group Therapy
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where a small group of clients meet regularly to talk, interact, and discuss problems with each other and the group leader (therapist). The purpose of group therapy is to assist each individual in emotional growth and personal problem solving.

Standard Case Management
Standard Case Management helps clients connect to AspenPointe and community resources including benefits procurement, housing or transportation services, coordination with other community providers and many other community resources. In addition, Standard Case Management assists clients in learning daily living skills that will lead to more independent living.

Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric Services includes Initial Psychiatric evaluations, medication prescribing and medication management services.
