Adult Substance Abuse Program
AspenPointe's Adult Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) helps individuals break the chains of addiction. Recovery is about learning new skills for the challenges of life and about discovering the freedom of living without substances. The ASAP program offers hope and a new beginning.
Both Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient Treatment (OP) levels of care are offered in day and evening groups. IOP consists of 6 weeks of group 3 times weekly. OP consists of 8 weeks of group 2 times weekly. Treatment level is based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine's Patient Placement Criteria for the Treatment of Substance-Related Disorders.
Aftercare group is offered weekly for graduates of the program and provides ongoing social support and skills reinforcement to help participants maintain a substance-free lifestyle. Graduates are encouraged to attend Aftercare group for a year and may continue to attend for as long as this support is needed.
The ASAP program uses the Matrix Model, an evidence-based curriculum, which includes the topics: Early Recovery Skills, Relapse Prevention Skills, Family Education Group, and Aftercare/Social Support Skills.
