Two members of AspenPointe’s Corporate Leadership Team were recently selected to represent the company on state-level organizations.
Michael Allen, Vice President of AspenPointe’s Health Network, was recently appointed to the Statewide System of Care Implementation Grant Steering Committee. The committee is a continuation of the Statewide System of Care Planning Grant Steering Committee which he has been a part of for the last several years.
The system of care model is a non-categorical approach to improving and integrating services and supports for children and youth with serious behavioral health challenges and their families.
Allen was also one of 11 recently selected for the Behavioral Health Transformation Council’s Steering Committee.
“I am very excited and honored to be able to work with a group such as this,” Allen said. I look forward to doing all I can to improve behavioral health services for clients in Colorado and have confidence that our work will result in something truly transformational.”
Jonathan Liebert, AspenPointe’s Vice President of Enterprises, has been appointed to the Pikes Peak Workforce Investment Board, where he’ll help shape workforce development in El Paso and Teller Counties.
The board’s purpose is to provide leadership in the workforce arena, both locally and throughout the country.
“I am extremely excited to accept this nomination and be part of a great group of people that seek solutions to one of the largest social issues in our community, unemployment,” Liebert said. “By discussing and encouraging workforce development, we are building a stronger, sustainable community.”
AspenPointe traces its roots back to 1875 when it was called the Springs Relief Society. That organization, which delivered coal, lumber and clothing to the needy, was the genesis of what is now an organization that serves more than 30,000 individuals and families each year through services in mental health, substance abuse, employment & career development, education, housing, jail diversion/reintegration, telephonic wellness and provider network services.
